Would you send your student to the same high school you attended?

Think About It: My students always express ideas they hope will be implemented on campus to improve the school day :) The younger set begs for longer recess, middle school wants to be taken to overnight field trips, and high school longs for off campus lunch privileges.
In The Classroom: I had a chance to spend a little quality time with the Juniors and Seniors in my tech lab. I couldn't resist asking what they truly think about their high school experience. I was impressed and a bit surprised at the responses. Andrew's response was priceless :) Hope you enjoy unfiltered honesty from a group of kids I adore.

Yes. This school has great relationships with teachers, which other schools lack. It has great socratic teachings and advances your knowledge. With this great environment, your student will advance mentally and spiritually.

Yes, I am a student from pvccp and I did not get to make the decision to go here but I am very thankful that my parents sent me here, because this school definitely makes you grow in your walk with Christ and excel mentally.

yes, I would because the teachers at PVCCP care so much about their students and the atmosphere is very uplifting and inclusive.

I go to Paradise Valley Christian College Preparatory and I'm so glad I chose this school. I had a choice between a larger Christian school or PVCCP but I chose PVCCP because I new that I would feel more comfortable in a smaller class size. This school has Christ centered academics. The teachers really care about your learning and are happy to spend one on one time with you if needed. They focus on critical thinking in every subject which has really prepared me for college. I would definitely send my student to his school.

Yes. My high school is Paradise Valley Christian College Prep but I started out my freshman year at Horizon. I switched so that I could get a much better education and learn in a comfortable and faith-filled environment. Here I could be surrounded by people and a faculty who cares about me and even my spirituality. I would want other students to go here so that they could learn how to think critically and come to know their faith. In religion and all other subjects students will be challenged and advanced. Also, Mrs. Temple- our headmaster- is the coolest thing since sliced bread.

I love this school because its the only place where they accept nerdy geeks like me without getting beaten up every day at lunch. They were even nice when I was in PE class--where I fall down a lot.

Yes, over the summer my parents told me I had to go to PVCCP this year, and I am very glad my parents made me switch. This school has Christ in every aspect of it and it is preparing me for college by pushing me past what I though I could do.

I would encourage my children to attend this high school without a heartbeat in between. Paradise Valley Christian College Preparatory proves to be among the most stimulating environments, compared to both secular and Christian settings. In comparison to secular environments, students are incited to develop a vast variety of skills, encompassing aptitude in reasoning, memory, public speaking, self-discipline. In comparison to Christian surroundings, students are pushed to work consistently towards the glory of God, and to constantly improve their walk with the Lord. I am everlastingly thankful for the Christian education that I have received and will receive at this school. We are not only pushed to improve our personal walk, but we are also pushed to find answers for our belief in the Lord. The teachers are encouraging, knowledgeable, and care for the individual student in their growth intellectually and spiritually. This school encompasses so many more attributes that I am thankful for.

Yes, they teach classically, causing the students to critically think. The faculty know all of the students personally, and are willing to help us in our personal walk or whatever we are struggling in. It's a lot of work, but the education is definitely worth it
