Today my students were given the opportunity to play the online game Would You Eat That? to better comprehend what they are consuming daily from the modified food supply of the 21st century. Why? Because I believe games can improve learning. Games provide a practice for students to create solutions and understanding for the very real challenges and risks in a world. In my observation of the kids in class...the hook for learning was not the entertainment factor but the level of challenge required to play the game. What do you think of online games as part of the core curriculum?

In my opinion, games can help only the age group they are made for. Say a teenager spends all of computer class playing Keyboard Climber. He would be better off playing Dan-ball or Ouch! than a game designed for first typers.

it just depends on the game. For instance, take Madlibs or jeprody. they're educational and fun. Madlibs helps learn parts of speech and jeprody helps to study for quizzes and tests. but skylanders? no

This game was really helpful because it taught me what to eat and what not to eat. It is kind of related to Miss Jacobs jepordy game because it teaches you how to learn definitions, spelling, ext.

In 4th grade we played a jeopardy game so that we could know some of the questions on the test. This game is very good for your memory, and a very fun game to play. Just like the game would you eat that witch we just played. I think any game is a good way to refresh your memory and helps you remember what you have learned. Witch I have learned so many thing from the game we just played. In that game I learned what kind of ingredients are in many foods that we have eaten. But using that as an example there are many games that are not bad for you, but you can learn from. Like Mrs. Roberts told us that in 6,7,8 grades had a contest to see who had the most creative comment witch 6 people won.

This game is good because it teaches you what's in food that you might think looks good. It can seriously change the way you look at things.

I enjoyed this game because it can show you what is in some of the food we absorb in our bodies. It is helpful to know what you are eating, and how much you are eating. It also a good guessing game that is very educational and shows a good supply of science and health. :)

I love this game! It's full of fun and learning. It really teaches you how to be more aware of the food around you. Kids love contracting items together to see what they turn out as, so that was really cool how the game was made. This learning game teaches you the true importance of eating healthy and taking care of your body. Also, get the true facts about what your food has in it.

Education creates equal opportunities for people of rich background and people of poor background. Competition is merely on merit and performance. So it discourages discrimination.

Built by the lairds and chieftans of the Border clans and families on each side of the Border Line, they would become a haven and a refuge for the common folk who lived outside the walls in houses little changed from those of their forefathers from a bygone age. Many of these towers still exist, ruined or still lived in.

A variety of online roulette services allow fans of the game to play at any time of the day or night from their personal computer. Online roulette functions identically to the physical versions found in casinos: players are allowed to bet on a single number or a variety of multi-number combination.
